Project Context
As part of our engagement with DriverDeal.ca, our IMMT team was tasked with producing a short, professional video to introduce the team members working on their live project. The team needed this video to showcase our team’s expertise and roles to stakeholders.

Project Goal
Create a concise, on-brand video to introduce our IMMT team working on the DriverDeal.ca project. The video needed to highlight the teams expertise in under a minute, helping stakeholders put faces to names and understand our collective strengths.
My Role
I led the entire production—from initial concept and storyboard through scripting, shooting, and editing—to deliver a polished, professional team introduction video that aligned with the guidelines.

Co-Producer & Planner: Collaborated on the storyboard and defined the video’s narrative flow.

Scriptwriter: Drafted and refined the on-screen copy and voice-over script.

Videographer: Shot all footage using a mirrorless camera, managing lighting and angles.

Editor: Assembled and polished the final cut in Adobe Premiere Pro, adding titles, transitions and audio.

The Process
1. Planning & Storyboarding

Met with DriverDeal.ca stakeholders through zoom call to define key messages.

Created a simple storyboard mapping each team member’s on-screen introduction.
2. Scriptwriting

Drafted a tight, 60-second script in Google Docs.

Iterated through two rounds of team feedback to refine tone and timing.
3. Filming

Shot each team member’s intro on location using a mirrorless camera.

Captured B-roll of our workspace and collaborative sessions.
4. Editing

Assembled footage in Premiere Pro.

Applied color grading and smooth transitions.

Incorporated background music under Creative Commons license and college logo.
5. Review and Delivery

Shared rough cuts with the stakeholders for feedback.

Delivered final MP4 optimized for web embedding and social sharing.

Conclusion
This project reinforced the importance of clear planning, tight scripting and responsive client communication. The final video not only introduced our IMMT team effectively but also showcased our ability to deliver high-quality media under tight deadlines.
